Beamer does not work

i dont understand if texmacs-users still works

there are no message in september 2026 althought i’ve just posted one…
so i bring my question here :slight_smile:

for the first time i am using the beamer mode for a lesson i give in 2 days
and i encouter a pb

i have created this :

000 some text
\unroll
AAAAAA inside unroll
focus -> insert argument after
BBBB
focus -> insert argument after
CCCC
i leave the unroll environment
DDDD

i export pdf and the pdf is ok, with several pages :
page1 : 0 and A and D
page 2 : 0 and A and B and D
page 3 : 0 and A and B anc C and D

— - — - — - — - — - — - — - — - — - — - — - — - — - — - — - — -
now i go on and it does not work any longer :

the cursor being in D, so outside the unroll environment (in no environment in fact)
focus -> insert argument after
then i write some text for my slide n° 2 : EEEEE

the, i export pdf and the pdf is wrong
page1 : 0 and A and B anc C and D
page 2 : EEEE

  • in the pref, i have unchecked then checked « expot pdf : develop slides »
    the result seems to be the same
  • i have found for a video with « beamer texmacs -latex » and not understood the results
  • i have searched in the jolly writer, i dont really understand

I can’t reproduce this. I only get the result you describe when I select “Expand beamer slides” in Preferences->Convert->Pdf.

What version of TeXmacs are you using and can you provide an example file?
