Building TeXmacs glibc errors

I’m trying to build the main branch of TeXmacs using guile1.8.8, but I’m getting linking errors when I try to run the resulting binary.

Has anyone had a similar issue and manage to solve it?

TeXmacs runtime tries to use a library that is not the same version it was built against. Please provide more information on your build environment, build command(s) and then how you are running the resulting TeXmacs build.

I was using the GNU Guix reopsitory version of Guile 1.8.8. In the end I had to build Guile 1.8.8 manually. I don’t know why it didn’t work with the Guix version.
