Checking for updates in Windows

When checking for updates (Help->about->check for updates) in the Windows version of TeXmacs (version 2.1.4), I get the following error message

Naturally, I am connected to the internet…
Could this be a firewall issue (using the default settings of Windows Defender)? If so, how do you allow TeXmacs to connect to the internet?

I can’t reproduce this, unfortunately, but if this is indeed a firewall issue, you can try allowing TeXmacs to access though the firewall
