Hello, currently when I go into the equation environment via \equation, my equation is assigned a number, say (2). I was wondering if it is possible to set custom equation labels, e.g. replace (2) with (EQ2), but only for that specific equation. You can often do this in LaTeX using \tag command, although, I don’t believe this works in TeXmacs.

The equation-lab
macro seems to me to do what you want.
