Do older people avoid TeXmacs partly because black text on a white background is too hard on their eyes?

Maybe adding a dark mode would help in this regard?

P.S. Maybe I’m wrong about dark mode being easier on the eyes…

It could be done by running TeXmacs with -r option like texmacs -r. However, this is not satisfactory if you have images.
