First bullet point hidden in presentation

I’m wondering if it’s possible to have the first bullet point in an unrolled itemize to default to being hidden in a presentation. I want to move through my presentation and when I move to a new slide, all of the bullet points are not present and I have to click for each one, instead of just the second onwards.

@mgubi, @jeroen, do you have an idea here? I do not, as I do not know how to automate the response of macros to keypresses (I think this is the issue).

Perhaps one can put the unrolling itemise itself in a fold that hides it initially?
