How do you type the first entry in the figure below?
How do you type something like argmin?

An idea is to select both functions arg and min and insert a script below.
What is the typographical difference between the first and third entries?
Found that pic is taken from https://tex.stackexchange.com/a/284054, where it shows various LaTeX declarations for an argmin
operator. From concluding comments
Note that
\argminC
and\argminA
give the same result, as well as\argminD
and\argminB
.
At the moment, I can type arg min
where the x
is centered on the min
. What I want is for the x
to be centered on argmin
.
Please try the suggestion. For me it works. You have to select both arg and min. TeXmacs source code is
<below|arg min|x>
