How to use \mathscr{} font in the TeXmacs?

Dear all,

I find that \mathscr{} (with the mathrsfs package) is popular in our community. Therefore, I am thinking are there way to use this font within TeXmacs.

I know that by using Termes fonts, F7 could make something resemble to \mathscr{}. However, when I convert the .tm file into TeX file, this font will convert to \mathcal{}.

Thank you!

Best Regards,
Yeoi

As far as I understand, the command \mathscr{} may correspond to various fonts depending on the LaTeX package being used. I assume you are referring to the classic Ralph Smith’s Formal Script font. In this case, you can locate it under the name “TeX Ralph Smith” in the Font selector, or alternatively, utilize the code name cal* with the macro <with|font|cal*|...>.

For improved TeX export functionality, I suggest defining your own mathscr macro and put it in the preamble. Here’s an example:

<assign|mathscr|<macro|body|<with|font|cal*|<arg|body>>>>

Thank you, friend. It works so well.
