Expressions like the following one are pretty annoying to display.
By default, since there is no fraction in the parentheses, all of them have the same size, which makes it difficult to discern the last three right parentheses. Hence, is there a way to adjust the size of the parentheses? In the previous example, I would like the parentheses for the exponential function to be larger vertically.

The size of the parenthesis can be changed manually. One way of doing this is by right-clicking when you are inside a parenthesis block. You will have increase size menu option with also listed the keyboard shortcuts. By default they are <Meta>+<Ctrl>+<Up> and <Meta>+<Ctrl>+<Down>. Note that on windows to invoke <Meta> you can just press the esc button (you shouldn’t hold it. Just a single click).
