The tutorial document would always load on startup and encourage visitors to complete simple exercises (e.g., type various equations) by editing the document itself.
Idea: Use the WebAssembly port of TeXmacs with an interactive tutorial for marketing purposes
I think that it might be better to advertised as a “Web App”, clarifying that it is a partial version of the desktop version, but is somehow portable and could serve as a demo.
But it can be used as a web demo now. Making it a usable “web app” requires more work in the port.
Any kind of usability still require a lot of work. I presented the port only in the texmacs-dev list for a reason. Right now it is mostly for evaluation of the browser/webasm platform, but many problems have to be solved before it can be presented to an average user. I would warn to publicize it too early.
