BaKoMa TeX was not gone out of “business”. It was a 1-man project of Basil Malyshev, but he passed away too sudden to take care of everything. He gives the access to the project’s source code and website to his nephew, but his nephew doesn’t give a shit about the legacy.

Now, everything related to the software are just nothing but dust.

That’s very interesting, you are well informed !!! So BaKoMa is like Scientific Word, no development anymore, freezed …, so out of business :slight_smile:

Another interesting project is SwiftLaTeX which seems to have been revived recently:

something to follow, also to understand the potentiality of the web assembler platform for scientific editing.
