Is TeXmacs interesting from a software engineering and/or computer science point of view?

And if so, why not write an article about how exactly this is so?

For example, such an article could talk about the use of multimethods and dynamic programming.

Maybe this article would encourage professors to include TeXmacs as an example in their software engineering / computer science lectures and assignments?
