Issues with Mogan v1.2.9.7: Crashes and LaTeX Export Problems

Hello,

I’m using Mogan (and also TeXmacs) to edit my notes, slides, and other documents. I’m running Mogan v1.2.9.7 on an M1 Mac , and I’ve encountered two issues:

  1. Crashes when opening multiple documents: After opening more than one document, Mogan tends to crash after a short while.
  2. Problems copying to LaTeX : When I copy selected text from Mogan to LaTeX, Portuguese characters like é and ã are replaced with strange or incorrect symbols.

Has anyone experienced these problems? Is there a known fix or workaround?

Hi @emmendes ad welcome to the forum. In TeXmacs é and ã are translated into LaTeX in a way that I did not expect but looks like it might work (I did not test). Just for making sure, could you post the exported symbols here? If this is a Mogan bug and noone answers here, you might get more info at https://github.com/XmacsLabs/mogan, where you might look for a posted issue on the topic or post one yourself.

Ok I see. Bug tracker of Mogan :slight_smile: Same thing for the crash. Unless @darcy (author of Mogan) has a different suggestion .
