Minipage support?

Is there something like latex minipage in texmacs ?
If not is it planned or is there a good workaround for this ?
Many thanks for you feedback and long life to the new texmacs forum :+1:

I answered to a similar question on twitter recently. I think, the answer depends on the use of the minipage feature you want to simulate. If you just need some moderately complex layout of text (e.g. for official letter headers, exercise sheets headres, forms, etc…) I would tend to use TeXmacs tables which are quite flexible and can span multiple pages. If you need more “wild” positioning then you can just have a drawing surface where then you are free to place text boxes wherever you like. There is also the option to draw on top of existing text elements, which allow you to position text in strange relative stands wrt. other normal flowing text. However I never used this feature seriously. HTH, Max.
