Mogan seems unusually slow

I have Debian 12 (on an intel i7 2.80 GHz, if that matters) and I have installed TeXmacs 1.2.6 and Mogan 2.1.4, both downloaded from their respective websites. For some reason, Mogan seems excessively slow. For example, if I open Help->Manual->Getting Started on both of them, it takes about 1 second to open on TeXmacs, and about 64 seconds on Mogan.
Is this a local issue, or is anyone else having the same issue?

It is because in Mogan, when you open Help->Manual->Getting Started, you are accessing the remote doc. The time relies on the networking.

Oh. Is there some way I can get it to open a local copy?

No such way for now. We are planning to make the doc built-in as:

  • One menu and one doc for manual
  • One menu and one doc for reference
  • One menu and one doc for developers
