A long time ago (about 15 years) a website proposed some original logos for TeXmacs. I kept the one I liked the most. This is the one I use in my talks to promote TeXmacs. Unfortunately, I no longer have the internet address of this site, nor the name of the author, nor the other logos.
I like it a lot too. Sorry that I do not have any information on the author. If noone answers here, you might try posting your question on the mailing list as well, Joris van der Hoeven mostly reads that.
The idea is nice but I would strongly avoid any further reference to TeX, already we know how much the name itself is problematic. I like the idea to recall the structuring of the documents, maybe we can change the fonts for the name to go away from reminding of TeX.
