[Solved] Cannot open old files?

Hi, I have been using TeXmacs for some time and am considering transitioning to use it for my future notes. However, I recently encountered an issue that I cannot open my old .tm files, and when I tried to open it, it shows up like this:

and automatically shuts down in about 1 min.

Does anyone have idea what the issue might be?

Do you know what version this file is from? I haven’t noticed it myself. Could you share a minimal non-working example?

Hi. Try this (if you are on windows) :
Close texmacs
Go to C:\Users*YourComputerName*\AppData\Roaming
remove the Texmacs folder (or rename it)
Run texmacs again
