Following the conventions of some papers, I need to enter runic letters, like ᛘ( U+16D8) and ᚴ(U+16B4). Unfortunately, it seems that the common fonts in TeXmacs don’t support them. I wonder if there are other ways to type runic letters. Thanks.
[Solved] How to type runic letters in TeXmacs?
Hi @xuyiqi1. If you have a font installed that supports this character, you can use it in TeXmacs. You can either copy paste utf8 characters from other applications or enter the character code after pressing Meta-Q
(in my setup at least) then a hash #
followed by the code. I tried with the FreeMono font, which supports both examples you give.
