Status bar and scroll bar improvement suggestions

Two suggestions for improving the UI:

  • when the status bar is hidden, still show status updates temporarily that do not have any other visual indicator (e.g., file saved message, etc.).

  • on macOS, hide the scroll bars when you are not scrolling

For the second suggestion, there should be a Qt Scrollbar option to complete it. I find that it is the default behavior of Chrome.
