TeXmacs and space bar

I tried TeXmacs for the first times with no result at all because the space bar is not working !
My system : Mac mini M2 + OSX Sonoma 10.5 + Apple Bluetooth Magic keyboard.
Did I miss anything ?

PS : my Mac is working perfectly with TeX/Latex…

Do I understand correctly that the space bar is not working in text mode? In this case—I will not be able to diagnose the reason of the malfunctioning but I can tell you how to get debugging information.

Start TeXmacs from the terminal; then from the menu Tools-> select the Debugging tool; a new menu entry appears, called Debugging; in that menu entry select keyboard, in the lower part of the drop-down menu. Now every keypress is logged to the terminal.

Then you can post this information here and I would also post in the mailing list, as there are some developers who read that more than the forum.

My fault. I had — unknowingly — triggered a keyboard shortcut for the disabled. Thank you.
