Writing logos like TeXmacs and LaTeX

Hi, absolute beginner here.
And yes, I have been spending the last 20 minutes or so searching through the manuals, Google, and here for the answer for my question.
I want to insert logos like the TeXmacs and LaTeX logos.
The web documentation* says that TeXmacs and LaTeX logos can be encoded with or <LaTeX, but it really has to be done with \TeXmacs or \LaTeX to generate the appropriate logos.
Google’s AI overview gives the correct answer (astonishingly!!!) but then links to the webpage below.

What am I misinterpreting?

I may understand wrong what you are asking, nevertheless I am trying to answer.

When you type \LaTeX or \TeXmacs followed by the Return key, TeXmacs converts them into <LaTeX> and <TeXmacs> respectively.

In the same way, when you need to enter a macro with one argument, say the macro hello which is defined in the manual, section 11.1, you may enter it by typing \hello and pressing the Return key.
Many of the shortcuts used in the manual are valid for the Mac, I never used them, but the syntax with the backslash is valid for all settings of TeXmacs.
