Towards the end of the quick tour video https://www.texmacs.org/tmweb/home/videos.en.html (around 3:22 min), the creator freely moves an inserted image with the mouse. This is a great feature, which I would love to use.
Is it new or is there any documentation about it?
The text messages in the video indicate that this is live editing. I could not find any documentation about live editing.
TeXmacs quick tour video: freely moving an image
Hi @SausageDog and welcome to the forum.
I don’t know
If noone answers you might try posting your question on the mailing list: Joris van der Hoeven, the author of the video and main developer of TeXmacs, reads the mailing list but does not read the forum. You can find instructions for subscribing the mailing list at https://www.texmacs.org/tmweb/help/tmusers.en.html
You can insert a drawing surface via the Insert -> Image -> Draw Image option.
Then you can insert a textbox for regular text into the drawing surface.
After that you can insert an image into that textbox.
Now you can move around the textbox in which the image is located.
